Super fast external box AXAGON EEM2-XS SHOCKPROOF with USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface is designed for NVMe (PCI-Express) M.2 SSD drives. The great advantage of the aluminum box is the double cooling of the disc , with which the inserted disc works at the lowest possible temperature.
The ribbed design of the external cover and another internal heatsink ensure excellent cooling of the M.2 disk. This prolongs its service life and also slows down the speed of the disk, the so-called "Thermal Throttling". The robust box body also provides additional disk protection. Yes ther bonus is the silicone sleeve , thanks to which the box is better protected against impacts, does not slip on the table and holds well in the hand.
SuperSpeed USB 10 Gbit/s interface allows you to enjoy the speed of modern M.2 SSD disks. Thanks to the fast USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, the transfer speed is up to 10Gb/s . Convenient connection is possible with a double-sided USB-C connector. In the package you will find two cables for connecting the box - a classic USB-A/USB-C cable and also a USB-C/USB-C cable. The external M.2 box also supports other modern functions such as TRIM.
It is possible to use NVMe M.2 SSD disks up to 22x80 mm in the external box. The box has no SSD capacity limit. M.2 cards can be single-sided or double-sided. By inserting an M.2 SSD into this box, you can easily create a fast and compact external drive .
