Returns and Exchange

Accidents happen. Whether you ordered the wrong part or realized afterward that you wanted to upgrade, Gear-Up offers a no-hassle return and exchange policy to help you get the right gear you need for your system. Unless it is specifically stated on a product page, the following policy applies to all Gear-Up purchases:

General Return Guidelines

In order for any Gear-Up product to qualify for a return, you must provide the original Invoice. Please contact Customer Service before attempting to submit a return. We must verify the goods are in good enough (brand new) condition to qualify for a return. Kindly note we will not cover the cost to ship returnable items to Gear-Up as well as the shipping of all replacement items back to customer.

EXCHANGE & RETURN POLICY

  • Exchange or Return is possible only within 3 days from the date of delivery subject to the terms herein.
  • No Exchange or Return shall be made without the Original Invoice & Warranty Card provided and the product (including the unit carton) is returned unused and unopened (original seal not broken) along with accessories & FOC (Free of Cost) items, if applicable.
  • No Exchange or Return shall be made for the following product categories: All Accessories, Software, Cartridges & Toners.
  • Any Refund will be in the form of Credit Vouchers / Credit Memos only, to be redeemed within a period of 6 months. No cash refund or credit card refund will be allowed.
  • Selected products might be subject to re-stocking fee 20% of the invoice value.
  • Selected products as "On request" items are not possible to be returned.
  • Customers from outside UAE are responsible for the shipping costs back to Gear-up.me office in Dubai.
  • These terms & conditions shall be governed and constructed in accordance with the laws of the UAE as applied in the respective emirate.

The product itself must be 100% intact and in the same condition, it was when it was sold. All original packaging must be unopened and in the condition, it was provided to you and Gear-Up by the original manufacturer (factory sealed, without any damage). Any packaging materials included with your purchase that include, but are not limited to, disks, CDs, manuals, materials, warranty cards and digital media must be returned with the item.

The following Gear-Up items do not qualify for a refund or exchange under this policy:

  • Accessories
  • Monitors
  • Laptops
  • Software products
  • Cartridges
  • Toners
  • Bulk Orders (3 and more pieces of one item)
  • "On Request" items

Supplier and/or Manufacturer Restrictions

Some of the suppliers/manufacturers of Gear-Up may have restrictions that prevent our customer service staff from processing your return/exchange, credit or replacement request.  Any requests for exchange/return, refund, credit, repair, or replacement for these items must be handled directly through the manufacturer and/or supplier. These products will not be handled by the Gear-Up customer service crew. You can find return/exchange policy information about those particular products by visiting the supplier and/or manufacturer's website directly.

Consumable Products

Consumable products will not qualify for a return and/or exchange through Gear-Up. Any support, requests for replacement, or issues with these products must be directly handled through the customer support of the manufacturer of the consumable product. Consumable products include, but are not limited to:

  • Ink cartridges
  • Toner cartridges
  • Blank media discs

Refund Policy

In the event you would like a refund of a purchase made through Gear-Up and it qualifies under the information provided in this policy, you will receive that refund in the form of a Store Credit Voucher (redeemable store credit code). Returns for refund may be subject to a restocking fee. Gear-Up does not provide cash or credit refunds. All Store Credit Vouchers must be redeemed in the Gear-Up store within six months of issue.

All items received for a return/exchange are subject to inspection by a Gear-Up customer service team member prior to approval of the returns/exchange request. Gear-Up reserves the right to reject any returns/exchanges that do not adhere to this policy.
