Returns and Exchange
Accidents happen. Whether you ordered the wrong part or realized afterwards that you wanted to upgrade, Gear-Up offers a no-hassle return and exchange policy to help you get the right gear you need for your system. Unless it is specifically stated on a product page, the following policy applies to all Gear-Up purchases:
General Return Guidelines
In order for any Gear-Up product to qualify for a return, you must provide the original Invoice. Please contact Customer Service before attempting to receive a return. We must verify the goods are in good enough condition to qualify for a return and we will not cover the cost to ship returnable items to Gear-Up. All replacement items will be shipped for free to our customers. Returns for refund may be subject to a restocking fee.
The product itself must be 100% intact and in the same condition it was when it was sold. All original packaging must be unopened and in the condition it was provided to you and Gear-Up by the original manufacturer. Any packaging materials included with your purchase that include, but are not limited to, disks, CDs, manuals, materials, warranty cards and digital media must be returned with the item.
The following Gear-Up items do not qualify for a refund or exchange under this policy:
- Software products
Supplier and/or Manufacturer Restrictions
Some of the suppliers/manufacturers of Gear-Up may have restrictions that prevent our customer service staff from processing your return/exchange, credit or replacement request. Any requests for exchange/return, refund, credit, repair or replacement for these items must be handled directly through the manufacturer and/or supplier. These products will not be handled by the Gear-Up customer service crew. You can find return/exchange policy information about those particular products by visiting the supplier and/or manufacturer website directly.
Consumable products will not qualify for a return and/or exchange through Gear-Up. Any support, requests for replacement, or issues with these products must be directly handled through the customer support of the manufacturer of the consumable product. Consumable products include, but are not limited to:
- Ink cartridges
- Toner cartridges
- Blank media discs
In the event you would like a refund of a purchase made through Gear-Up and it qualifies under the information provided in this policy, you will receive that refund in the form of a Credit Voucher and/or Credit Memo. Gear-Up does not provide cash or credit refunds. All Credit Memos and Credit Vouchers must be redeemed in the Gear-Up store within six months of issue.
All items received for a return/exchange are subject to inspection by a Gear-Up customer service team member prior to approval of the returns/exchange request. Gear-Up reserves the right to reject any returns/exchanges that do not adhere to this policy.
