With DICE and Electronic Arts revealing their latest titles so close together plenty of Dubai gamers are left thinking they simply want to buy one – not both games. If you’re wondering which you should choose: Call of Duty Black Ops 4 or Battlefield 5, keep reading as we look into the pro’s and cons of each.

Black Ops 4 vs Battle Field 5

Black Ops 4

Battle Royale modes are becoming incredibly popular and that’s why the developers behind Call of Duty Black Ops 4 opted to include this mode with this very popular game. However, the game has canned the traditional campaign mode in this release, something that has been a part of Call of Duty since 2003. The focus is increasingly on multiplayer.

If you prefer single-player mode you may feel something is amiss with Black Ops 4 as the developer really puts its weight behind the multiplayer competition modes in the game. To be fair, multiplayer has proved very popular since the Modern Warfare series and as such it’s understandable that Call of Duty is strongly focusing on multiplayer.

Battlefield 5

In contrast to Call of Duty Black Ops 4, Battlefield 5 is really going for a story-driven single-player type of gameplay. That’s going to suit a lot of Dubai gamers that like the intrigue of war stories – much of which will be based on WWII in Battlefield 5. Note that though Battlefield 5’s WWII stories are pretty entertaining, they’re not entirely accurate which might bother some of you.

Like multiplayer? Don’t worry – Battlefield 5 has really gone to town on multiplayer and also offers a Battle Royale mode. Its competition mode offers mission objectives too which ads a story-like aspect to multiplayer.

Which game should you choose?

Clearly, if single-player gaming is important to you Battlefield 5 is going to offer a lot more. As for multiplayer, it’s really 50/50 – both games are very good and it just depends on your preference. Check out some YouTube clips and see which game you think will be the best fit for you?
