OVERVIEW

Expansion unit Rexp-1620-RP is designed to expand the storage space on QNAP NAS by connecting multiple extension covers over high-speed mini SAS cables. Rexp-RP-1620, equipped with 12 Gbps SAS interface on the outer casing, ensures fast data throughput from QNAP NAS with the activation of 12 Gbps SAS drives while using a transmission speed of 6 Gbps. This is especially useful for large data applications requiring a high degree of interoperability with high performance, such as video supervision, archiving large amounts of data and store television broadcasting.
