Omnidirectional, very fast barcode scanner for universal use.
Orbit is a lightweight but robust construction, small in size but large in terms of sensing performance. Its position in the Metrologic omnidirectional sensor range is between the MS 6720 handheld sensor and the stationary ArgusSCAN. It meets all the requirements for space-saving space and is therefore suitable for small shops. The unique design without the need for a stand allows its use as a stationary sensor as well as a handheld sensor for reading codes from bulky objects. The sensor head can be tilted vertically by up to 30 ° to improve sensing of different sized objects. To prolong the life of the laser light psu, the sensor can be programmed into a power saving mode to which it enters after a specified time. The laser reactivates full power after reading the barcode.
