It is a 2D scanner that can read standards such as 1D, PDF or 2D symbology. It can scan barcodes on LCD and OLED screens, including codes on paper with a print contrast of at least 20%.

Reading codes on LCD and OLED screens - The device reads the codes on the screen with a minimum brightness and still helps the user to decode at the desired speed. Great encoding performance - The moment the barcode flashes, the HF680 captures the image and starts decoding, giving the user a seamless experience. Long service life - All key components that are designed are rigorously tested to last more than 40,000 hours. Decoding even in extreme conditions - HF680 can read barcodes covered with water drops, further bent or damaged barcodes and, last but not least, lengthy and inverse codes.
