Ruby Cipher ExDrive Kit (RCED) represents a new generation of eSATA enclosures for hard drives with 256-bit AES encryption to ensure absolute data security in caseof loss or theft of the disc. Crypto engine inside the Ruby Cipher enclosure handles encryption and decryption in real time without noticeable loss of performance data. Thanks to the original eSATA interface, supports Ruby Cipher ExDrive highest possible performance that can be achieved in modern covers for externally attached hard drives.
RCED represents a new generation of eSATA enclosures for hard drives with the original eSATA interface for the highest possible performance in today connected externally covers. Can accommodate all standard 2.5 "SATA or SATA II or SATA III hard drives. The data transfer speed, which provides RCED is about 3 times greater than the maximum throughput of traditional covers for discs that use a standard USB or Firewire interface.
